PREPARE YOUR EARS TO LISTEN AND YOUR HEART TO RECEIVE AS YOU TAKE IN THE WORDS THAT LOOK TO CHANGE LIVES, RENEW HEARTS AND OPEN MINDS Isn't is easy to say "I got what it takes, I'm the one you need, I am the man or woman for the job." But are you? We have psyched ourselves up so much to think that we can handle any situation that is in front of us by ourselves. Have you ever noticed in the movies that when someone is getting ready to fight a group of people, they attack one by one and then that person usually wins. Well, sad to say, life doesn't throw one obstacle at you and wait, but attacks you like a swarm of yellow jackets that continue to sting you until you give up, run away, or do something about it.
Have you ever looked at someone else's situation or life and uttered the words, "well if that was me, I would...” This could be how they might have handled their finances and now they are broke, it could be their children running around the store like they have a demon in them, or it could be how you see someone treating their spouse and you wonder why they are still with that person. Well I would offer to say that they are in that situation because they were built for it and you weren't.
Do you know what civil engineers, designers, and architects have in common? They all construct objects with a certain level of concepts, specs, and materials that would allow for that structure to withhold the weight of whatever is going into it, over it, or underneath it. They don't wait until the weight is applied to build the structure but build the structure to the weight, and although the designers know how much weight can be applied to these structures, there will always be someone who tests it, to see how accurate it is.
Just like the many structures designers have built, we were designed to be unique and original with our own weight bearing loads that are commonly called stress, anxiety, pain, or grief. Christians usually refer to 1 Corinthians 10:13 for solitude which states, "The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure." Notice it didn't say you wouldn't have more weight on you that you can bear but it did say that when tempted there will be a way of escape so that we can resist and not have to bear that added weight.
Everything you go through has already been instilled in you and you will never know what you can take until you are pressured or what you can endure until everyone turns their back on you. So I ask you, "Are you built for this?" Yes, you are due to the uniqueness of your design, character, and construction. #SPEAK2MYHEART
