I haven't met a person yet that is blameless, flawless, nor perfect in purpose, deed, or character. Amazingly enough, I continue to hear people judge others because of different political views, economic status, religious belief, gender, sex, and race. We all differ on issues due to different influences within our lives and with diversity, we "should" be stronger as a people and empowering each other and not destroying.
I understand that opinions are like butt holes and everyone has one, but offensive is offensive. Don't you just love when you see someone's post and they state, "it's on my page and you can scroll by or delete me." Well bingo, we have a winner because that is the correct answer, although anyone and everyone could do that, who would be there to challenge you on your views? You would continue to be one minded in your own perfect world where you "perceive" everything is perfect. Well, I like to have difficult conversations with everyone because I realize that there are two sides to every story. Using proper communication skills with listening and talking with common courtesy is where the healing and learning is achieved.
I don't think that we should be quiet about our society's moral issues, but we must do it from a position of identification and not from a place of superiority. Judgment is passed when words such as snowflake, "n" word, racist, fat, ugly, Bible thumper, gay, stupid, and any other derogatory name is being used and this is when our ears, hearts, and minds close and our mouths, hands and feet become weapons of destruction. We all learned or heard of the golden rule "do unto others as you would have them do unto you". So, before you start to be judgmental, sweep around your own front door because yours could be where the dirt and debris is coming from. "Judge not lest ye be judged." #SPEAK2MYHEART
